Christmas Dinner at Oaxaca Real

This December 24th, Hotel Oaxaca Real opens its doors for you to experience a warm, festive, and enchanting evening with our 2025 Christmas Dinner: a menu carefully designed to envelop your senses in the spirit of the season.

We invite you to enjoy an evening where tradition, flavor, and togetherness come together with a three-course menu, welcome punch, and live music, creating the perfect atmosphere to celebrate with family.

 

First Course:

An Appetizer to Warm Your Heart Three options designed to refresh, comfort, and welcome the holiday spirit.

Winter Garden:

A salad as fresh as it is elegant, prepared with apple, celery, walnuts, and cranberries, drizzled with a spiced yogurt dressing. A soft and harmonious start that evokes the colors and aromas of the season.

Chepil Tamale:

A small Oaxacan treasure: a chepil tamale filled with requesón cheese and served in a delicate roasted tomato sauce. A warm appetizer that embraces tradition with a festive touch.

Nochebuena Cream: Walnut cream with a touch of sherry, crispy Serrano ham and caramelized walnuts.

 

Main Course:

Tradition, Flavor, and Celebration Choose from two options that embody the Christmas spirit with creativity and flavor:

Cacao-Crusted Steak: A juicy beef steak coated in a crust of Oaxacan cacao and pasilla chile, served over an elegant cacao sauce. A rich, warm dish, perfect for a special evening.

Lasagna with Almond Béchamel Sauce: A comforting and unique option: pumpkin, spinach, and goat cheese lasagna, bathed in a silky almond béchamel sauce. Ideal for those seeking a light, aromatic, and flavorful dish.

Christmas Feast: Turkey breast stuffed with nuts and bacon, in a plum and red wine sauce.

 

Dessert:

A sweet ending to celebrate. Two desserts designed to end the evening on a high note:

Guava Sigh: A tejocote and guava cheesecake on a crisp oatmeal cookie base. Smooth, aromatic, and utterly festive.

Chocolate Feast: A yule log made with semi-sweet chocolate and mezcal, filled with an exquisite Mexican coffee mousse. A dessert with an Oaxacan soul and festive spirit.

Snowy Fritter: Oaxacan fritter with piloncillo honey and homemade cinnamon ice cream.
